Our integration with SAP SuccessFactors works by sending requests to SAP CPI endpoints, receiving encrypted payloads on our RESTful integration endpoints, decrypting payloads, and inserting raw data into a staging database. From there, our ETL process transforms the data and updates the SuperPayroll database with standard controls to comply with SuperPayroll business rules. We support both delta and full requests with comprehensive error reporting.
The architecture follows an event-driven approach with inbound payload processing split by employee before being inserted into the staging DB. From there, event-driven processing makes the downstream processing naturally throttled and scalable.
SuperPayroll implements enterprise-grade security including:
- End-to-end encryption: All communications over HTTPS
- Payload encryption: Even if intercepted, payloads remain encrypted and unusable
- Encryption at rest: Temporary saved payload files are encrypted and staging data is encrypted with SQL TDE (Transparent Data Encryption)
